Three Questions That Can Change the Way You Make Decisions

Every day, we make dozens of decisions.
Some are simple, others life-changing.
And yet, we often feel overwhelmed, indecisive, or later regret our choices.

Why?
Because we often make decisions superficially, driven by emotion or habit, rather than awareness and our own values.

Good decisions start with questions that shift your perspective.

1.What do I really want to achieve?

It’s not enough to say “I want more money” or “I want a new job.”
Ask yourself:

  • What kind of life do I want to lead?

  • What emotions do I want to feel?

  • What would real success look like for me?

Decisions aligned with this vision are simpler and more sustainable.

2. What would I do if I weren’t afraid of the consequences?

Fear of failure, judgment, or losing control often blocks decisions.
This question allows you to see possibilities alongside risks.
Sometimes the answer is: “It’s not as hard as I thought.”

3. Is this decision aligned with who I am?

It’s not about what’s expected, what others want, or societal standards.
It’s about alignment with your values, energy, and lifestyle.
Decisions aligned with you bring peace of mind and motivation to act.

You don’t have to have all the answers immediately.
Sometimes it’s enough to pause, ask the questions, and let the answers emerge through action.
